Agile Practices Beyond Software

While our training has a strong focus on software delivery, one of our larger class simulations has teams of people building a product that's not software, and we get to talk about how the values and practices we promote extend beyond software.  Aligned with this idea, The Wall Street Journal recently published an article titled "Family Inc." explaining how agile practices can be applied to family life.  Jeff Sutherland is interviewed, but there's no specific mention of Scrum as the practice used in these examples.  Still, I would expect that reading through this article should connect you with what you might see in a Scrum environment.
